In the interest of public safety, several State Department of Corrections makes available to law enforcement agencies and the general public, information and photographs of inmates who are incarcerated.  Some states let you search inmates by name. This includes those that have recently been released. We've compiled all the states that are currently offering this service. There is no charge for these inmate locators, and we will add more as they are made available.
