July of 1995, a group of Apartment Managers & Owners became concerned about the increase in
violence, drugs, gangs, graffiti and vandalism on their street. Together with Community Policing, they went door to door informing neighbors of a neighborhood meeting to be held
on their street. As the result of that meeting and
with the continued affiliation with other Collaborative Agencies came the formation of R.M.S.S. 

     R.M.S.S. continues to meet on
the third Wednesday of the following months:
January, March, May, July and September
to discuss problems, share solutions and work together
to improve the quality of living in our communities.
